General Information.

The Superwinch HUSKY, is a rugged heavy duty professional high quality worm drive electric winch.

The original design capabilities of the Husky range is 3,856 kg. ( 8,500 lb. ) line pull for the Husky 8. However, the new EU ratings mean that the Husky 8 is down rated to 2,500 Kg.

The Husky is engineered for the professional vehicle recovery operator and has become the winch that the Vehicle Recovery industry relies on, The Industry Standard and is ideal for winching cars and light commercials, including accident damaged vehicles that may not have four rolling wheels. It can easily be mounted on either a Flat-Bed, Spectacle Frame, or vehicle front mount applications including 4-Wheel Drive vehicles such as Land Rover, for use in serious off road applications. It is available in 12 and 24 volt. This winch is also a favorite with the Plant Hire Industry for plant loading, Forestry, Off Road, & Transport Industry, it also has many Industrial applications.
