Power Drive Specification.

Lightweight and self-contained Power Drives / geared motors from Superwinch are the ultra-dependable, high quality solution for many applications requiring a prime mover for task automation. Ready to plug in, all Superwinch units carry both a cross pin hole and keyway for mating into your rotary or linear application. They feature DC power sources with torque ratings to 1,125 in. lb. single or dual output, and a choice of several gear ratios. Check the performance page to select the right unit for your job.

All Superwinch Power Drives geared motors feature long-life wear components such as ball bearings and tin-bronze composition for worm-wheel and oversized worm shafts. The worm wheel is press fit to the output shaft for greater strength and runs in an oil bath. The gearbox is "O" ring sealed for life and is die cast aluminum. Each unit is pressure tested to ensure leak-free operation at the user end. All DC Power Drive motors include four magnet shoes for greater efficiency and longer runs.

Superwinch Power Drives safely automate the movement of many types of home, commercial, and industrial equipment. Popular applications include automating pool covers, awnings, tarps and covers on trucks hauling bulk materials, and other cover-based functions. Power drives automate the operation of gates, enclosures, and industrial curtains. Use them to automatically and economically control ventilation shutters in greenhouses or cooling vents in poultry barns. Power Drives geared motors from Superwinch also automate the elevation of bulk feeders in the poultry business and provide the power to extend portable grain augers. Superwinch Power Drives are high quality geared motors that take the grunt out of ship board and dockside based davits for lifting boats and personal watercraft and hauling pots.
